What maintenance do I need for my 2000 Toyota 4Runner?

I have a Toyota 4 Runner with about 75,000 miles on it that I bought brand new in 2000. I haven't done any maintenance to it ever, other than changing the oil and air filter when I am supposed to and getting new tires. I assume there is some maintenance that should be done by now, but the car is still running great. What maintenance do I need for my 2000 Toyota 4Runner?The first thing you should do is check your owner's manual. There is typically a suggested maintenance routine listed in there.

You don't need to replace the tires until the tread is worn down. You can check this by sticking a penny upside down in your treads. If Lincoln's head is covered you're good; if not, then it's time for new tires.

If you can't find information in the owner's manual, here are some other things you should check:

-Transmission fluid, proper levels and not too dirty

-A/C Filter, make sure it's clean

-Brake pads, make sure they aren't too worn down, if they aren't squealing then there probably isn't much of an issue

-C/V joints, make sure they are properly greased

-Brake fluid level

-Clutch fluid (if it's a manual transmission)

-Power steering fluid level

-Spark plugs, ensure they are clean and have the proper gap

-Make sure the belts are tight

That should be good for now. You can also take it to the shop and have them look over it.What maintenance do I need for my 2000 Toyota 4Runner?timing belt, your supposed to get a new timing belt every 60K, if your timing belt breaks while you are driving your car is finished
