easy one to do, locate it first, follow the 3 inch radiator hose from the top of the radiator to the top of the engine and it should be where this hose connects to the engine, Two bolts to remove-remove them, gently tap the little housing with a piece of wood or wedge a screwdriver between the block and 4-5 inch housing and pop it up,

.clean and scrap off the surfaces that touch each other, install new thermostat with the proper side down, just as the old one came out, apply gasket sealer to the gasket and block. put the little housing on and turn in the two bolts, do not over tighten

(some thermostats have a design with a different gasket, a rubber one that needs no sealer, check when you remove)

after tightening the bolts, add antifreeze, leave cap off, start it up and wait until the level drops down, add more to fill, then close cap. Run engine or drive, next day fine too, third day before starting it up, open cap to recheck antifreeze level, add and apply cap.

Can I turn in a leased 2005 grand Prix and get a honda or a toyota next?

Call the dealer and ask.

Duh.Can I turn in a leased 2005 grand Prix and get a honda or a toyota next?It depends. You will first have to call GMAC if that's who the lease is through to find out their guidelines for turning in a lease. If you want to just turn it in they will probably tell you you have to drop it off at the dealership you leased from or some other dealership of their specification so they can inspect your Grand Prix to make sure you don't owe anything from mileage overages or too much wear and tear. Assuming it meats the guidelines and you have a clean turn-in, you can just leave one lot and go to the Honda or Toyota dealer to purchase your next car. If you have to pay anything due to the mileage or condition restraints, you will have to first clear that up, then get a letter from the dealer and/or GMAC stating that the lease is satisfied. The new dealer will need this information in order to finance you for a new car.

Now, if you're turning it in early or the conditions can't be met, you'll have to just trade it in for the new car. This will probably land you in hot water because the lease gives you lower payments which doesn't eat away at your payoff as fast as a regular purchase. So the Honda and Toyota dealers will have to call GMAC to get your payoff and then they give you a trade figure for your vehicle. Assuming they can finance any negative equity you have, which shouldn't be a problem assuming your credit is as you say, then they can just sell you their car no problem and keep the Grand Prix as a trade. You will not be able to finance the Honda or Toyota through GMAC, as far as I'm aware, so you should plan to finance with either Toyota or Honda's finance companies. But first and foremost, call GMAC finance to get specific instructions on your options for turn-in and trade-in.

Is the engine of Hyundai Accent in a same level / quality as Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla ?

I need to by a car.

I am looking at Hyundai Accent GL 2005-06

My question:

Is the engine of Hyundai Accent in a same level / quality as Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla ?

What makes Hyundai cars to loose it values?

Thank you for your responds. Is the engine of Hyundai Accent in a same level / quality as Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla ?Its pretty close to the same quality as the Honda/Toyota, though the Accent doesn't compete with the Civic/Corolla, Hyundai's Elantra does. The Elantra is rated higher then those 2. The reason Hyundai's lose value faster then Honda/Toyota is based on previous history and reputation. Hyundai's were subpar quality until the mid-90's and only average quality until about 2001, they've since moved into the top 10 out of the 36 brands sold in America. The value of the Accent like all small cars has gone up in the last year with the rise in gas prices. As you've found out, that same 2005 Accent cost about the same as a 2002 Civic that has many more miles on it. Take advantage of this value while you can as Hyundai values continue to rise each year.

If not, then you would need an AUX interface added, usually FM modulated (not that great). Your other alternative is to replace the radio with an aftermarket piece. • How do i clean my engine to a 2003 toyota corolla?

I need to know the steps on how to clean my toyota corolla 2003 step by step. what to cover, what to use, I don't want to damage my car. Thank you.How do i clean my engine to a 2003 toyota corolla?Thats a pretty car and a late model. Cover the alternator, ditributor any relay boxes and air filter housing. I'd try to go to a car wash that has a steamer then using "Gunk engine" cleaner with a garden hose, it's safer. Try not to do this a lot. Wires hate that.

If you want to go into detail, "Liqqid Wrench" ia a good cleaner. Use it with a rag and wipe down any parts but I''l warn you that it smells natsy. I've done a lot of detailing and found that it gave a shine to engine parts better than gas.How do i clean my engine to a 2003 toyota corolla?it won't out right damage any car when washed. what happens is ppl don't take preventitive measures prior to a wash. all ignition connections, plug and coil wire boots, and distributors(if app) need to be sprayed with WD-40 and protected first. cover the intake if needed.

i use a cheap citrus cleaner and a fat cheap pant brush. i put a dollar store table cloth under the vehicle with news papers on it. spray a section at a time and rinse with very low pressure garden hose. throw the table cloth, paint brush, and all away!

    cheers!

What can I expect to fix on a 1992 Toyota pickup?

I have a 1992 lifted Toyota 4x4 5-speed 6-cylinder pickup truck that has been sitting in my driveway for five years now and am looking to get it back in good reliable running shape. The truck needs a new engine and tires, aside from those two things what else should I expect to have to fix or get a look at in order to have it in the condition I would like it in? Any information would be greatly appreciated, thank you. What can I expect to fix on a 1992 Toyota pickup? Are you sure you need a new engine? Was it running okay before you parked it? If so, chances are it still is. It might just need a fresh battery (or a jump start). You might also want to give it an oil change and check the fluids. Also look things over for rodent nests--squirrels like to get under the hood and chew up the wiring harnesses to build nests.

If everything looks okay, just jump-start it and drive it--chances are it's ready to go!

Many Toyotas are parked in the fields for 20 years. Then someone comes along, puts in a new battery, starts it up and drives it out of the weeds.
