How come they do not sell the Toyota Hilux in the United States?

They sell every other Toyota car, but not the Hilux. Why?How come they do not sell the Toyota Hilux in the United States?Because Americans prefer quality trucks instead.How come they do not sell the Toyota Hilux in the United States?
Spiral Out is pretty much right. The Hilux that you know and have seen in other countries was available here until 1994 as the Toyota Truck. It was replaced by a U.S. built version called the Tacoma- which is essentially the same truck as the current the current Hilux in other markets.How come they do not sell the Toyota Hilux in the United States?Hilux is the Equivalent to the Toyota Pickup (pre-Tacoma), then the tacoma, and also the 4runner (hilux surf), only disadvantage was overseas the hilux had crew cab's and diesel powered mini trucks.How come they do not sell the Toyota Hilux in the United States?
