Is there a growing trend of angry motorist towards Toyota Prius drivers?

I don't know if this is true or not, but apparently there is a growing trend of angry Californian motorists targeting Toyota Prius drivers. I want to know if it is true. Is it the driver itself that is the problem or the weight of the car or something else. Share your stories. Is there a growing trend of angry motorist towards Toyota Prius drivers? It's the attitude that by spending extra money to get a more expensive car that is falsely promoted as environmental (some conventional cars get nearly the same gas mileage, and the lead in the batteries is worse for the environmental than the slight difference in carbon dioxide output between a those cars and a Prius) one buys the right to do all sorts of other things that are much worse for the environment. This is especially true when Prius owners who drive to and from work everyday in a Prius look down on others who own a regular car, but usually use a bus or train, and use less gas and make less pollution than the Prius does (because it is being driven more). Is there a growing trend of angry motorist towards Toyota Prius drivers?
I could never be angry at anyone driving a PRIUS; to busy feeling sorry for them.

KIDDING

I actually drove one of these P.O.S. for a weekend once. They aren't all that bad. I could not see myself ever entertaining the thought of buying one though.

In the town down the road from my residence all the Taxis are PRII - PRIUSES - PRUIS' - *%26amp;%#%26amp;@ - multiples of PRIUS - %$(#%26amp;@ - they all have a PRIUS n/plate on them! ! !Is there a growing trend of angry motorist towards Toyota Prius drivers?prius'' suck. end of story. my car has half the seats, 1/4 the gas milage, but has double the cylinders and easily double the torque and power. not to mention, i don't look like a douchebag driving a prius. Is there a growing trend of angry motorist towards Toyota Prius drivers?
