Why has Toyota stopped making sportscars and will they ever return?

Such as the Supra,Celica.or the MR2.Nowadays Toyota makes those new weird looking hybrid cars. The only cars I like from them now are the Camry and the Corolla. Why has Toyota stopped making sportscars and will they ever return?Toyota hasn't stopped making sports cars, they just changed brands. The IS 350 and IS F are potent vehicles. Toyota is planning on returning to the affordable sports car market in 2011 with a joint venture with Subaru. It is going to be a lightweight turbocharged rear wheel drive 4 cylinder with 200 horsepower. And there is the looming return of the Supra once lithium batteries become commonplace, as it will be offered as a hybrid. Why has Toyota stopped making sportscars and will they ever return?maybe they think their are more hippies then regular peopleWhy has Toyota stopped making sportscars and will they ever return? They are planning to bring some back.

The Toyota Celica was replaced with the Scion tC. Same engine and chassis although the Scion tC is not a sportscar, but a sporty coupe.

Toyota also makes Lexus. Lexus recently made the 416HP Lexus IS-F. And they make the Lexus SC series, which they plan to discontinue.

Next is the Lexus LF-A Supercar to compete with the new Nissan GT-R and upcoming Acura NSX.

Toyota and Subaru are working together to make Two RWD sportscars that will give around 225HP using Subaru's Boxer turbocharged engine.

And Toyota is planning to bring back the Toyota Supra using the Lexus LF-A platform, but it will be less luxurious, slower, and much cheaper.

I think it will compete with the Nissan 350z.Why has Toyota stopped making sportscars and will they ever return?
Toyota's make some of the best cars in the world. Unfortunately, they also have no sense of style as most of the are the ugliest cars in the world as well! Have you seen the 2008 Toyota Sienna Mini van? It looks like a refrigerator on wheels with a wilted body and Godzilla eye ball head lamps from a 1950's Japanese horror film! Ewweee
