I am from Milwaukee but I am going down to watch the Chicago Fire play Houston Dynamo at Toyota park tonight. Is this the bad part of the south side of chicago? Will I have to be packin heat and wearing my nuetral-gang colors to walk to and from the stadium?How ghetto is the area around Toyota Park where the Chicago Fire play?First of all, Toyota Park is not in Chicago...its in the suburb of Bridgeview which is in the near Southwest Suburbs. The area is not that bad actually as this is close to Midway Airport and the expressways. Parking is adjacent to the stadium so, no, you won't have to worry about wearing your gang colors at all. I would assume that the police would stop you anyway if you flash your gang signs.
All kidding aside, Toyota Park is near an industrial area and is not that bad to be in as its easy to get to from the area's major expressways.
