How much would a Toyota car tire cost?

I have a toyota yarris and i bumped the tire against the curb which made a pretty big dent in it. I took it to the autobody shop and apparently, It would end up costing me 400 dollars to fix since they must buy a completely new tire. Would it really be 400 dollars for a new one or are they just bullshitting me?How much would a Toyota car tire cost?If you need a new rim and tire, $400 seems about right. $400 for just a tire and labour, that's a ripoff! $150 max, balance and install for a Yaris's tire. Shop around first. A Toyota dealer may charge the same but you get the whole new original rim and tire. don't fix the rim if it has the large dent. Such as shipping costs and labor charges to put the wheel on? If the 400 dollars doesn't include labor, go to another Auto Body shop and ask for a second opinion / quote for the replacement. I know it means a little more work to get a second opinion, but you'd hate yourself if you found out later you got ripped off.

If you are going too pay for a tire from a bump shop that will cost you $400.00 for a tire , Come on over too my shop and i will sell you 4 brand new tires with high rise white lettering on them if that is what you want. For the money. I bought 4 brand new 15inch tires for my f-150 4x4 5-ply for $329.99 at wal-mart last year. I did not spend $400.00 on one tire. Yes they are pulling your leg pal.
