There are many different ways to raise your fuel economy. You can make sure your tires are properly inflated, and i recently heard of something called a Hydrogen Assist Fuel Cell, which costs alot of money (about 1 to 2 thousand dollars) but, if it works correctly, it will raise your efficiency substantially. They tested the system on a Toyota Camry that originally got about 27 Miles per Gallon, and it now gets about 55-60 Miles Per Gallon. It depends on your amount of driving but, according to the stats, it would pay off. This does not mean that every car installed will see a 2x improvement in gas mileage.
