Are honda cars as economical and practical as toyota cars?

Im a toyota car user and since ive just sold my unit, im thinking of switching to honda for whatever its worth..I need some advice from honda civic car owners...

My toyota corolla altis was fuel efficient and did not break down during the 5-year time i used it...Are honda cars as economical and practical as toyota cars? The good thing about Honda's is that they last a very long time and they always run very smoothly, as well as Toyota. As far as fuel usage I think the Honda is a little better then Toyota, though Toyotas probably last longer then most hondas and also are more stylish and luxurious. My first car was a Honda and it lasted me such a long time until I got into a car crash and my insurance offered me more then I bought it for to repair it, i took that and also sold the car so it ended up making me a profit. Honda cars also dont depreciate as fast as others do, Overall I liked honda better then toyota, but both brands are very trustworthyAre honda cars as economical and practical as toyota cars?

Are honda cars as economical and practical as toyota cars?I would definately recommend Honda cars. They are very fuel efficient %26amp; green. Especially civic, which gives an average of 33-35mpg on freeway %26amp; 30mpg in city...very very reliable %26amp; resale value of Honda cars is excellent!
Honda really are great they could last up to 300,000 miles if you treat em good. I know fair deal about cars Hondas are very good cars. I own a CRV myself but I am trading it in myself for a Civic. Are honda cars as economical and practical as toyota cars?yes, Honda is a good car also. Are honda cars as economical and practical as toyota cars?
They are equivalent in terms of quality and reliability. Honda is known for great engines, but when it comes to Civic vs. Corolla and the other mainstream cars, they are both great.
I had a honda, it was the same as a toyota, which I have owned a few also, very dependable and great on gas, not the most comfortable car on long trips... but thats life I guess...Are honda cars as economical and practical as toyota cars?
from what ive heard of imports is they arent at all reliable. they break more so than domesic cars. its just theyve built up a good reputation for being reliable in the 80s. but since then, reliablility has declined since parts for them are made in china. if you want a good reliable car, your best bet is to buy american. the most dependable, stylish, and economical cars on the road today are american. the quality is there. youd have to see for yourself. just read motor trend or ask a few owners before you buy. buy american all the way. its the only way to go. the answer is obvious. invest in your countrys economy. dont contribute to helping china build their war machine. an added bonus to buying american: youll help save jobs here, in our country. if you buy import youll be labeled a communist by your fellow americans by contributing to their cause. hope this helps.
Honda's are way better than Toyota,,,Toyota's fall apart, you have to take a Honda apart.........

the gas mileage and the maintenance on a Honda is unsurpassed.......they are great cars and trucks

I have always had a Honda Accord EX,,,,,the mileage and maintenance on any Honda will out do any other make or model of car......you cant wear them out,

a loyal Honda driver since 1978...I have a new Honda Accord EX, sun roof, 6 disc CD, ac/power windows and seats, 2 door sports package....and the seats are heated for winter and ac for summer, leather seats.....2 door automatic....auto door locks and I can press the starter and have the car warmed up for me on the way to the car...and then open the doors from remote, and trunk also.

Toyota cannot make any of the claims that Honda can,and Honda lives up to its reputation.

I just got a Lexus SUV for transporting my dogs to shows, and it is great also.

but you cannot beat a Honda........

the civics ex are really great, my nephew has one, he loves it, he traded in a broken down Toyota celica 4 yr ago, the Toyota was a piece of junk from day one, brand new...they all are.
mine is 7 years old and has 280 K on it, never have had a problem, get 28 mpg combined city and highway...I love it....good luck.
Having had a few Honda's, I swear by them. I can't really speak for the new cars, but if we are talking about the 90's, Honda rules, bar none. Toyota's are good cars, no doubt, but there is no competition when it comes to the way Honda's give great fuel economy, more than enough power ( the v-tec engine is amazing) ,great handling and reliability second to none. I have had 2 Honda civics si and I sold them with over 400,000 km, they didn't use any oil and they both drove like new. One of them I sold to a friend's kid (17 year old) and he has been beating the crap out of that car for over a year and it is still running fine. I know of another person with 600,000 km on his Honda. These are the original engines and drive trains also. Other than regular maintenance the only thing I had fail was the fuel pump every 150,000 km (which is to be expected). You can't go wrong with a Honda, just look at how many early 90's civic's are still on the road, running strong.
Toyota all the way
