What's the cheapest way to fix my door lock for 1994 Toyota Corolla?

My 1994 Toyota Corolla's driver door lock does not work. The key will slide in but will not turn. I've tried to grease it. The same key works for the passenger side door but not the driver side door.

Similarly, I can use the key to start the ignition if the key is inserted one way. However, if I flip the key and try to start the ignition, it does not work. The key will not turn.

What's happening and what's the cheapest way for me to fix this problem?

Thanks! What's the cheapest way to fix my door lock for 1994 Toyota Corolla?get a new key cut and have them use the side that works to cut the new one. double sided keys only use one side to work it is just for convenience. if you have two cars with the same key blank you can have one car cut on one side and the other car cut on the other side. What's the cheapest way to fix my door lock for 1994 Toyota Corolla?Have you tried having a new key made? The key could be worn out to the point that its only working for the other door. Other than that, try going to a junkyard and getting new door locks. What's the cheapest way to fix my door lock for 1994 Toyota Corolla?switch door locks from the other side maybe cheapest way
