2000 toyota Camry. The driver's side floorboard feels wet. the substance seems to be a bit oily, thin. When you clean it with a cloth the liquid is tinted a red color. THis is the only seat it is happenning in, not the passenger side. Car is running fine.What would cause a red tinted liquid to soak through the driver's side carpet in my Toyota Camry?It is ATF oil or brake clutch fluid leaking.

Maybe there is a leak in your trans. Is it an automatic?
It could be from your clutch or your brakes. maybe a bad seal. But that fluid should be clear or a little brownish. It sounds like transmission fluid, but off hand, I can't say that I've seen transmission fluid leak into the cabin. See what fluids you are low on. your Transmission is leaking.
It sounds like it could be transmission fluid. If the car has a manual transmission, it could be from the hydraulic clutch master cylinder. Look up under the dash and see if there are traces of the same fluid on the clutch pedal or any of it's linkages. Next, take a look and see if the clutch fluid reservoir is low. Toyota brand anti-freeze is red. It will feel a little oily. If they used that red kind, it could be your heater core. When your engine is cool, take off the radiator cap and see if you have the red anti-freeze.
Sounds like Transmission Fluid. could be leaking in. Get it checked before it gets worse.
