How hard is it to change a headlight in a Toyota Corolla?

My left headlight went out tonight on my 2009 Toyota Corolla LE. The high beam one works, but not the low beam. I would rather try and replace it myself over having it done professionally. However, I have never changed a light. I have changed a wiper blade (lol), but never a light. A quick question though. If headlights are on at the same time (like wiper blades) why does just one go out?

Thanks...How hard is it to change a headlight in a Toyota Corolla?it's really easy. just flip the hood open and feel behind the headlights. you should be able to unscrew them by hand. I would replace both at the same time. How hard is it to change a headlight in a Toyota Corolla?Parts

It's a moderate job,the link below is a general instruction and it has a video too.How hard is it to change a headlight in a Toyota Corolla?I think you need to get a small metric wrench or socket (I think it is a 13mm) and take off the bolt that holds the entire light assembly onto the frame above or near the radiator. Once the bolt is out, you wiggle the light assembly loose and pull it off its mounting. You can now access the plastic base that holds the bulb. You turn it and remove it from the light assembly. You can now access the bulb. Replace it and reverse the procedure to assemble. Only one light goes out because there are two separate bulbs and they don't always fail at the same time. If they did, that would be like drawing a royal flush twice in a row.How hard is it to change a headlight in a Toyota Corolla?
It is not very difficult. See this link

But, for left side it is little tricky because of limited space. So, try on right side first and you will get an idea how to do it.
