Are any of you part of the huge Toyota oil sludge lawsuit that was hushed up?

Just wondering if Toyota owners were even aware of the issue, as Toyota is blaming owner/driver for the issues.Are any of you part of the huge Toyota oil sludge lawsuit that was hushed up?There was no lawsuit, I work for Toyota and know that if you do take care of your car by changing your oil ever 3 months or 3k miles there is no problem, I own a 4 runner and that was one that some people have had problems with.

I heve never seen a mechanics car with a sludge problem.

people just get lazy or cheep and want someone to blaim.

Toyota is nice enouth to cover some of these if you can prove you have had at least 3 oil changes in the past year.

Yep, too bad is was hushed up like that, and Toyota is blaming the owner for the problem and refusing to take any responsibility.Are any of you part of the huge Toyota oil sludge lawsuit that was hushed up?
It's the 3 liter model in older Camry's that has had some problems. But mainly it's the fault of the folks who don't change their oil regularly and then expect the engine to just keep going and going.



It's been in the news enought that I was aware of it and I have one of the cars. I'm still very happy with it.
